The letter states that the option to terminate the lease agreement is effective 11:59 p.m. today and that he must vacate the mall premises and remove his property before then.

Fuchs said he was given no reason for this termination and was shocked and upset.

This is just weird. It’s the story of a Sydney Australia man who makes up to $50,000 per year begging.

It’s really unbelievable and makes me question giving anything to anyone these days, even though I’m pretty much a sucker.

But at least you know you can always fall back on this when the internet get rich quick schemes go belly up!

THE hours are long and the work monotonous, but begging pays well for at least one of Sydney’s homeless men who earns up to $50,000 a year from good samaritans.

Ken Johnson, 52, makes his living on busy George and Market St, outside the Myer store in Sydney’s CBD, where he sits for up to 16 hours daily, seven days a week.

On a good day, he said, he takes in $400 from generous passers-by.

On slower days, he still picks up amounts between $75 and $150.

“I’d be really disappointed if I did a long Friday and I only had $250,” said Mr Johnson, who has been living on the streets “since the late ’90s”.

“I knock off when I feel like it, or if I’ve done brilliantly. But on those good days, you might be on such a high that you go for a few more hours and get a bit more money.”

California uses more gasoline than China.

If California were a separate nation, they’d be the leading fuel consuming nation in the world.

So while the rest of the country is being told to conserve, to pay higher gas prices, switch to hybrids, etc. it appears the really disproportionate consumer of gasoline in the US (and the World) is one state, California.

So does this really means that if we made California ration gasoline the rest of us in the US wouldn’t really have to do anything to “solve Global Warming”, “conserve gasoline”, or all these other things being foisted upon us?

Sacrifices must be made it seems… “for the greater good” as they say.

I’m just kidding of course.

I think.

But what if?

No, I’ll stop that train of thought.

Till next time someone from California like Nancy Pelosi or “Arnold” tell everyone else what “We” need to do.

“The worst nightmare for me is, while I’m sleeping, someone coming in my home,” Shafman tells the group, drawing a few solemn nods from the gathered women. Shafman, 34, of Phoenix, says she knows how they feel. She used to stash knives under her pillow for protection.

Not anymore, she says, welcoming them to her Taser party.

On the coffee table, Shafman has spread Taser International’s C2 “personal protector,” a weapon the company is marketing to the public. It doesn’t take long before the women are lined up in the hallway, whooping as they take turns blasting at a metallic target.

“C’mon!” she says. “Give it a shot.”

Shafman is not an employee of Taser International, based in Scottsdale, Ariz. She is an independent entrepreneur who has been selling the stun guns the way her mother’s generation sold Tupperware storage containers.

A lot of people, especially women, need time to get comfortable with a unique product like Taser before they will consider buying one, Shafman said.

So the Taser party was born.

Shafman said she has sold about 30 guns per month at $349.99 since her first Taser party on Oct. 15. She does not get a commission from Taser. Instead, Shafman said she gets a discounted dealer rate for the units and keeps the difference.

I couldn’t tell if I was delirious from the flu and imagined this headline or if it were for real.

It is a real website, but I’m too sick to really even begin to try to wrap my head around it.

Maybe it’s better that way.

Basically it’s about hydrogen on demand but is it really so simple?

One of the YouTube comments on a video here said this:

This technology has been around since WWII. These aftermarket products are far from perfect. I had a hydrogen on demand system on my Focus and it kept blowing the o2 sensors. Be ready for a lot of costly trial and error. Even the mowers fry if you don’t control the hydrogen/gas mixture carefully.

They showed some guy who look’s like Jimmy Carter as an “expert” on “water technology”. That made me want to get my thermometer to see if I’m running a fever again. I don’t mind hearing him talk about Habitat for Humanity, but other than that, no more 1976 micromanagement flashbacks please.

Here’s the claim: Run Your Car On Water.

I think I’d prefer the car that runs on compressed air, anyway. That news story sounded promising. Or was that the flu too?

Anyway, there’s just one problem even if this works… just like the guy running his diesel on vegetable oil from Costco, if they catch you, it’s illegal because it hasn’t been taxed!

The kind, loving people who make Craigslist such a friendly place to visit online (NOT!) have now ransacked a man’s house in Oregon.

Oregon man’s property ransacked after Craigslist hoax

The ads popped up Saturday afternoon, saying the owner of a Jacksonville home was forced to leave the area suddenly and his belongings, including a horse, were free for the taking, said Jackson County sheriff’s Detective Sgt. Colin Fagan.

General note to the world “Please take all my stuff – really!” is most likely not a legitimate ad when the stuff has some actual value and is not the equivalent of what’s left over after a yard sale.

Living creatures that cannot be picked up for free at the humane society shelter should be included in the above indicator of a hoax… a horse definitely meets that criteria.

In all honesty, it isn’t Craigslist’s fault, of course, that crazies hang out there any more than it’s a bus station’s fault that they hang out there. It’s just that one had hoped that having an internet connection and the ability to read might be an indicator of a slightly more humane human status than this story indicates. They sound like the creatures Will Smith’s character battled in I AM LEGEND. Except these didn’t wait till dark to come out.
