Man, I hate having to deal with automated phone systems when I call a business. I just don’t understand for the life of me why anyone would call somewhere and just EXPECT to get on the phone with a robot – the Post Office is the worst about it. So when I set up my small business I made sure that my phone in the office would ring through to my cell phone so I could get calls even when I wasn’t sitting right in front of my desk. I spent a lot of time researching business phone service and I didn’t skimp since I feel like that’s something really important in terms of customer experience. I didn’t want my customers to have a hard time when they were trying to reach me so I think this was a good move right upfront for both me and my business. There are some things you shouldn’t waste time on deciding and I think that picking a good phone company for your business is one of them, to tell you the truth.
