I got this idea from a dude nicknamed Sunforged on HubPages. I’ve linked to another of his brilliant ideas.
To make this work, you need a WordPress Blog with Akismet. And you’ll need to have spanners trying pingback spam on you. That sounds crazy, but think about this…
One of my techniques for finding new keyword strings and niches involves noticing obvious SPAM when I travel through the internet.
This started by getting annoyed with all the Akismet notifications in the my email account for my own websites. I was always annoyed that I even had to spend 3 seconds to deny these gibberish comments.
So I began to keep a google doc where I would paste the anchor text of the Spam comment – eventually I take a look through and see if there is any hidden gold.
With that same attitude, I will occasionally jump through the hubhopper if some piece of bltatnt SPAM exists and i have to spend 3 seconds to mark it as such…well then I copy the keywords as I figure they dont deserve them.
So i have all these keywords! and nowhere near the time or inclination to check them all..
You’ll find more free ideas for possible keyword niches than you can track down. Use the ones that check out with MicroNicheFinder or the Google Adwords Keyword Tool or whatever you use and if they fit what you like to write about… this could be a tip that saves you a TON of time.
Finally something useful SPAMMERS can do for you!
OOPS! I just deleted some money a Spammer wanted to give me!

Hey Chuck
I like the idea you have just given me. I have about 300 spam messages to go through. At least it will make it more interesting for me deleting them.
Cheers Graham
Ps I am just trying to get my head around track backs. I want to write a blog about what you have just shared and mention your article, but not sure how it all works can you recommend any resources that I can go to?
All the best Graham
