So what do you do?
Based on the niche you blog about, search for related key phrases.
Be sure to use keywords related to your niche that MicroNicheFindersoftware shows has
1) a low “green” SOC (that means you have little competition for that keyword)
2) relatively high adsense click prices since that’s how you monetize your site.
3) and make sure you get a decent number of monthly searches. Depending on the niche I may use a keyword with only 500 or so searches per month. Especially if it had a very high Adsense price.
If using Wordpress, I’d use a “related post” plugin to interlink related pages within your blog.
Then, of course, you’ll have to build backlinks.
If you’re any good, people ping back to you anyway. All these become backlinks that help your site get better rankings.
