4-H Sewing Class gives skills to last a lifetime|Sewing isn’t just for girls anymore

Look at websites selling hand made products like Etsy.com and you can see there is a market for hand sewn goods.

And even if there weren’t, then simple repairs can help stretch a clothing budget. And “hand me downs” don’t have to look tattered and torn either.

Where do you get such skills? 4-H still provides them. Usually county extension agents can connect you to them if you’re wanting to add a skill like this to your lifetime repetoire of tools and techniques for making money in a pinch.
