The WeReward App for iPhone helps businesses and rewards app users. You’re rewarded a penny per point for performing tasks related to businesses in your area.
For instance, even out here in the “boondocks” we have national franchises like Domino’s pizza that participate.
If I go buy a carryout order of pizza there (which I was planning to do anyway tonight!) and upload a photo of my receipt (which I wasn’t planning to do tonight) that’s good for 25 points. Earn 1000 points minimum ($10) and you can get paid.
What do you need to participate?
- An iPhone
- A Twitter, Facebook or Foursquare account
- A Paypal account
Is it “worth it”? You decide. For businesses wanting to penetrate their local area, it could be very beneficial. For consumers who want to earn rewards, it depends how big the rewards are in your city. It may just be another time waster… but considering we’re iPhone users and have lots of time wasters on these phones, at least this time waster pays!
