Gas 7 Cents Per Gallon… it’s true.
A gas station in Antioch TN (near Nashville) is going to sell gasoline for 7 cents per gallon for two hours on Saturday 6/19/2010.
Are they crazy? No, they’re just “crazy like a fox”… here’s why:
The stunt is being bankrolled by Common Cents Mobile, a pre-paid wireless company that is promoting its 7-cents per minute and 7-cents per text message services.
In addition to the limited hours of the promotion, drivers are limited in how much they can buy.
Where? At the Murphy Gas station at the local WalMart … who “conveniently” sells these phone plans.
How can you joint venture with other (smaller) partners to make get them to subsidize your advertising budget?
