Though I stay busy in the work at home field, I’d never run across WhyDoWork.com until today. I’m normally skeptical when I’m asked to mention sites like this… I’ve been burned before too.
But one thing that got me VERY interested in what they’re doing at WhyDoWork.com is the resources they have assembled for folks wanting to work from home.
For instance… trying to make money from Adsense? They have developed – and offer free – a unique plugin for your wordpress website that makes inserting adsense code into your pages a cinch! You can find their free adsense plugin here:
WhyDoWork.com AdSense Plugin for WordPress
There’s nothing more frustrating than running an adsense website and wondering if someone has made you any money. But logging into Google every 5 seconds to check is a huge time waster! Solution? WhyDoWork.com has created their own Firefox plugin to monitor your Adsense earnings – that’s free too! Awesome tools!
But I was also impressed by the database of work at home jobs they’ve assembled there. Their Work At Home Jobs allows you to quickly search by keyword or category for home based, telecommuting jobs. Here are the categories to choose from: Administrative Support, Accounting/Bookkeeping, Customer Service, Database Administrator, Data Entry/Typing, Graphic Design, Marketing, Medical Billing/Coding, Mobile Applications, Recruiting, Research, Software Development, Teaching/Tutoring, Telemarketing/Call Center Technical Support, Transcription, Translation, Travel, Web Design, or Writing/Blogging. The listings are constantly updated and I was extremely impressed by the variety of jobs from a variety of employers. I suspect most people seeking work at home jobs will consider bookmarking that page instead of manually searching dozens of sites that only have spam listings under “work at home” – you know, all the biz ops masquerading as work at home jobs!
In the mood to chat? Of course there are forums for your consideration.
I have to say I was pleasantly surprised after visiting WhyDoWork.com! Any work at home job site offering free – and practical – software to help people earn money plus providing such an excellent database of work at home and telecommuting jobs is worth visiting in 2010! I think you’ll enjoy your visit there too!
Note: Thanks to WhyDoWork.com for sponsoring this post today!
