New Year’s Resolution: Good Back Links in 2010!

December 30, 2009 by Chuck | 1 Comment

I’m fixated on backlinks these days… In the good old days, I optimized a page for a keyword that is no longer relevant at all but it was hot back then. In those days, a well optimized page seemed to be all it took to get traffic and revenue. That one page was making me $100 to $200 per month! Woo hoo!  But, times change.

Today, I’d need back links to that page unless it was the only page for that keyword in the universe of course. What are the odds of that happening?

For most of us, backlinks are built one way – by sweat equity and hard work. Getting the RIGHT backlinks from sites with search engine authority – not just blog comments. Links from .edu and .gov domains (if available would be ideal). Believe it or not, sometimes such links ARE available!

So how do you find them? I didn’t know until I read this $9 report. At $9, it’s worth every cent when you’re trying to compete to earn a living online.

Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m still going to  use these resources I mentioned here along with other tools because a  variety of links using a variety of anchor keywords from a variety of ip’s is the best for your search engine rankings period. This is simply one  tool in your toolbox! But it’s worth checking out.

It helps you:

1. Find unique places for your backlinks, especially .edu forums

2. Keep the search engines happier (and you too as a result)

3. Save you time by helping you identify the best places to get backlinks online
