If you’re embedding a YouTube video on your blog or website for any reason, you may NOT want Youtube to serve up what they consider “related” videos. You really have no way of knowing what they’ll consider “related”.
So what do you do? Youtube has the answer:
Basically, at BOTH instances in the embed code where the youtube url is, you DELETE the automatically placed script and add “&rel=0″ so that the link looks like this:
“http://www.youtube.com/v/xxxxxx&rel=0″
That way ONLY the video(s) you want shown will be shown.
This is particularly helpful if you’re uploading your own videos and you don’t want your competitors’ videos being shown.
You can even tell YouTube not to allow other people to embed your video, but that’s another story.
