What business or charity couldn’t benefit from learning “How To Get Free Publicity“?
I have to tell you that this was the most amazing article I’ve read on the subject… why? Because it gave me a way to actually be of service to reporters who are seeking input for their stories. The other two suggestions you could have figured out yourself, though the discussion of them was a helpful refresher, i.e. have a blog and a twitter feed. But to get the most “bang” for your buck on the third idea, you really need your own web page any way.
So what was so valuable that it has my mind exploding with possibilities?
It was a link to a unique and free service that lets you scan daily requests from reporters who are seeking information for their stories. I’m not going to give that link out… You can find it here AFTER reading their important caveats. If you end up spamming reporters, you’ll just become hated. That’s sort of the opposite of free publicity! But find out about the service here.
The upside, if you really can be a source for reporters, is an ongoing stream of free publicity for your website and for positioning yourself as an expert!

“Help a reporter is a great service” I joined it and already can’t wait to contribute some story to earn some free publicity fro them.
Thanks for the info!
