What To Do With the Flu When You Work At Home

SambucolWhile my wife was typing today through a bout of some bug, she remarked “The problem with self employment is that you have no paid sick days and no paid time off! You have to work if you’re sick.”

Yes, that’s certainly true.

I have been suffering the same bug except yesterday a fever developed.

A doctor friend who’s a public health expert told me I should immediately start taking Sambucol, a naturally derived extract from Elderberry’s that has been studied in Israel and elsewhere for it’s ability to minimize the impact of the flu.

I am taking the sublingual tablets with zinc because – well, that’s all I could find at the local drug store! In the past I have taken the liquid.

He was very clear that if things get worse to seek medical attention immediately because of H1N1 this year. But he told me today he even takes a maintenance dose.

Fortunately you can get this online or locally easily enough… just make sure you have a supply stocked up for you and your family incase it becomes wildy popular this year and you’re left without it.
