Many Older Workers are Worried About Retirement

Many older workers are worried about retirement studies are showing.

That shows that someone at least still has a brain left in this economy.

Pension plans, 401 k plans, IRA’s are mostly built on the stock market and real estate markets that have been boosted artificially by inflation and money being pumped into the system by easy credit as the demand for actual products is not being sustained because population in the United States (even will all the illegal immigration) is holding steady. Markets aren’t booming per se.

Having a “retirement” and “Toil free years” for the vast majority of the Middle Class is eroding as fast as the Middle Class. It was a relatively short (in terms of human history) phenomenon that won’t be recovered without a massive turn around in the economy that is nowehere in sight as the current administration (and the last one for that matter) seek to expand the federal role in the economy after Barney Frank and his cohort already paved the way for the mortgage collapse by making the sale of risky mortgages not only legal but mandated. The greed on Wall Street did what it normally did … soothed itself with “It’s legal” and made hay while the sun shined.

What to do?

1. Stop thinking these idiots in Washington care for anything but buying votes and perpetual power… if you’re not in their favored states or type of job, they don’t care if you starve or not. Just look at the Chrysler dealers being cut – all those who didn’t favor the current Administration in their donations. Just look at where the GM plants are being idled – states that didn’t vote for this Administration.

2. Get out of debt. Here’s a totally FREE site on getting out of debt … DeliveranceFromDebt.com. Check it out.

3. Consider how to add income to your personal finances through starting a business you can continue after retirement (forced or otherwise).

I think it’s horrible what they’re doing to our great car companies. and putting them in government control is just completely un-American. I’m one of the lucky few who get to work from home in a very stable company. It seems the home market is becoming more profitable than what the naysayers had said after all. Soon they will be looking at us for jobs. ;)

I could not agree more, there will be alot more people working from home. Why not ,you have more freedom and time with family and friends. It is so rewarding helping other people better there lives in every way and getting paid to do it.
