As I told you my personal Twitter account which is NOTHING to do about work at home business has found a sponsor… at least for one month. This is my work Twitter… ChuckWAH
I’m not sure how many of my followers – over 700 now – are just spam. Oh well.
I try to follow back anyone with a remotely active twitter account on a subject I might remotely like.
The TweetDeck.com application has been helpful to identify and respond quickly to replies, direct messages, and to “filter” the people I want to follow like Dane from news services, weather alerts, and other accounts without real people behind them.
There’s one drawback to TweetDeck for me… you can see Facebook updates but can’t reply from TweetDeck as yet (or I can’t figure it out anyway!)
Seesmic Desktop is a new tool I’m trying. It DOES allow you to comment on Facebook.
That’s important because my Twitter updates my Facebook and I’m as likely (or more so) to get responses there as I am on Twitter! But I’m still toying with Seesmic. Another advantage is that it lets you post from multiple twitter accounts.
What Twitter tools are you using?
Twitter is fun.
Making money? That remains to be seen.
Boosting traffic? Definitely
I believe it requires a measure of personal interaction though unless you’re FOX NEWS to get the results most marketers want.
