An Interesting WordPress Tip To Speed Your Website

If you’re using Wordpress as the content management system of your site, one way to speed performance on a large site is to DELETE any plugins you may have that you are NOT using.

A plugin is a small software program that improves the functionality of Wordpress in any number of ways.

You can see an endless supply of these plugins here http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/

Even though you may list a plugin as “inactive”, Wordpress still “queries” the software every time a page loads.

If you are like me you may experiment with a variety of plugins and let the rest sit inactive.

If you have many such plugins, it’s best to delete them since the minute delay of querying one inactive plugin is multiplied during every page load.
