It’s spring time. Even people who wouldn’t dream of operating a home business do turn their thoughts to making some quick cash from yard sales or garage sales.

A few hours work (and it IS work) can help with the spring cleaning and make some quick cash in a short time.

There’s just one problem. Do little known government laws make what you’re selling illegal? And make what thrift stores and consignment stores across the US sell everyday illegal?

The answer is “YES”.

    I don’t think the government would go after someone holding a yard sale that hard… after all, I would hope they have better things to do.

    Angela, I hope you’re right. But you never know what idiots will do if they get a burst of self righteous zeal in the name of “Protecting the Children”

    Wow! Just when you thought you heard it all! I would have never thought of a yard/garage sale being illegal. That is Crazy!
