Well, if that sounds interesting to you and you love your iPhone as much as I love mine, here is a simple way to see if you can make money creating iPhone applications. My wife brought this to my attention – by accident.
She was checking out applications for one of her favorite “off phone” games. Here’s what she found… in this particular niche all the games were charging money. No “free” apps to compete against. That’s a good sign.
But in addition, none of the apps in that particular niche had good reviews. There were all sorts of complaints about every app
And it happens to be an area where we have some expertise.
Voila!
That’s how to identify a profitable niche.
1) Little or no “Free” competition.
2) Lots of unhappy users
3) Ideas how you can make something better yourself!
