Since people are worried about stretching every dollar as far as it can go these days, I wanted to bring this coupon portal to your attention: Savings.com for free online coupons. What I find interesting about this site in particular is that people can “vote” for their favorite coupons. This way you’re more likely – in my estimation at least – to find the best deals you might otherwise miss, the things that “real people” think are a bargain. By having all these users sort through the many coupons and pick the “winners”, I feel more likely to find a great bargain – not just what the advertiser wants me to BELIEVE is a great bargain.
For example when I visited the site today, ChildrensPlace.com coupons stole the show and their 15% off coupon had the top number of votes at 680. Lot’s of people must have thought that was a GREAT bargain. I guess because it’s tax time H & R Block coupons were of great interest, coming in at number 2 on the main page with 503 votes for a 15% discount on their online tax preparation service.
I really like the way this site operates! I can’ t believe they’ve been around since 2004 and I’m only now finding out about Savings.com and their deals! If coupons are a regular part of your shopping plan (or you’re making them part o f your plan) this system of “peer reviewed” coupons is a great way to see if you’re finding the best deals on a given purchase. Well worth your visit!
