It used to be that only Sex Offenders were tracked by GPS, now Gov. Ted Kulongoski of Oregon wants everybody tracked by GPS and taxed based on how much mileage they put on their vehicle.
It’s amazing to see politicians whine and moan about us using oil, but then as people seek alternatives like biodiesel or electric cars which the gas tax essentially leaves “untouchable”, they will immediately resort to the most draconian and tyrannical measures to get their “pound of flesh”.
Even if it means monitoring everyone they can by satellite in the “Big Brother” state.
They “say” no vehicle tracking is involved. What idiot doesn’t know that it could be implemented easily enough?
Tell your Governor, Oregon, that you don’t wish to be treated like a state full of Sex Offenders. Unless you want to be treated like that of course.

This is such a surprising thing. I can’t imagine being charged per mile for driving. The taxes on gasoline are so high already
