Twitter’s Real Appeal – Direct Business Communication

Here’s an article about Twitter: about how wonderful they are, about how many users they have, about how their traffic is booming and how they haven’t earned a cent yet but still have venture capital coming in.

The real benefit to business was near the end and WHY you should have a Twitter account as your business grows. In fact, the bigger the business, the better it works:

“People are so impressed when the CEO of a company sends out a message. The CEO is talking to us directly, without spin,’’ said Scott Beale, founder of Laughing Squid, a web hosting service in San Francisco. “The business angle alone is huge. Why a company would not be using it is beyond me.”

In the Age of Cynicism, communications perceived as “sincere”, “direct” and “spin free” are worth alot. Especially if they really are sincere, direct, and spin free!
