Google Introduces Voice and Video Chat

November 17, 2008 by Chuck | 1 Comment

Lots of home business people use Gmail, so I guess it’s only natural that they’ll be using Google’s new voice chat and video chat.

You’ll need to download a special voice and video browser plugin.

But, after that, it’s fairly routine.

Frankly though, none of my regular contacts are on the system to I can chat with them by video or voice. It seems I have more friend on Skype with those capabilities.

It’s free.

What remains to be seen is how the service compares with Skype’s services.

If it’s just as good, I’d most likley use Google’s because it allows me to interface with my friends on AIM too.

Have you tried it?

Will you use it for your work at home business?
