Etsy.com is a unique online sales platform that is designed for people to sell their own handmade items directly to the public over the internet. Unless you’ve made it yourself, you can’t sell it here.
I love the idea though of creating a market place for specifically HAND MADE items like these as opposed to a huge “super store” with all sorts of things … well, you know where they are on the web.
Here hand crafted items aren’t having to compete with the 99 cent specials!
You can see the fees here – 20 cents per listing and 3.5% at the time of sale.
People selling hand made goods who aren’t based in the US will be glad to know Etsy isn’t just for US based artisans!

If those mothers among you want wealth, happiness and success for yourselves and your children, consider dispelling the myths above from your mindset and think how this newfound knowledge can be applied to your life.

Etsy is not just for handmade!! There is also a thriving community of VINTAGE shops selling quality items and SUPPLIES folks selling the tools and crafting supplies used by many of the handmade artisans on Etsy.
It’s NOT like Ebay, it’s not for commercial sales, and there are no auctions. The fees are much less than on Ebay as well. Etsy takes a lot of hard work and self-promotion to do well and get your shop traffic and repeat customers.
Please visit Etsy for handmade, VINTAGE and supplies.
