After Joe Wurzelbacher gained his “15 minutes of fame” as a media star, the website BusinessesForSale.com saw a spike in interest in the sale of small plumbing firms! If it’s good enough for Joe, it suddenly was good enough with people looking to buy businesses!
Marcus Markou of BusinessesForSale.com said Wurzelbacher’s story was the type to inspire hundreds of thousands to buy their own business.
“Something like that is a global story,” he said. “And when something like becomes a global story, it immediately enters into the consciousness.”
