There’s just one problem when it comes to Internet Video Advertising. For folks like me who don’t have access too video editing software, I can’t afford to do hire someone to create an internet video for every little thing I want to do! But another option will be SlideShare.net it’s not video advertising per se. It’s really a powerpoint or other type of document created into a slide presentation.
While not everybody can make an internet video, many people CAN make slideshows on PowerPoint, through Google documents or with other acceptable formats. (Except for MS Office 2007 versions, SlideShare can work with ppt, pps & pot (PowerPoint), pdf, odp (OpenOffice); Keynote users can save as pdf. You can also make slideshows from doc, rtf, xls (MSOffice), odt & ods (OpenOffice) & pdf files.
No, it’s not the best alternative to real internet video advertising by any means. But for making quick and dirty presentations where people can actually click your marketing link, it’s pretty awesome.What you want to do is embed your slideshow (they give you the code) on a keyword optimized site that ranks high in the search engines and directs people to your slideshow. Odds are, a good slideshow can work as well for you for selling or educating people as that video!
