I didn’t know this, but evidently some marketers motto is “Half.com – More Money Than Ebay & Half the Work!”
Half.com, Ebay’s red haired step child actually can sell certain things like lightning and lets you keep more money than Amazon.com!
It’s interesting how everyone focuses on “ebay” for instance like this woman did only to get NOWHERE only to find that her products were selling like hotcakes at Half.com. The drawback is that half.com specializes in a narrow range of products (unlike Amazon or ebay) but if you have inventory in the area of books, audiobooks, DVDs, electronic games, or textbooks, you could be missing a valuable resource for selling online. Unlike “Auctions” you set YOUR price.
I was amazed how this lady picked up inventory for free from friends who were just getting rid of items that were “useless” to them.
That tip was pretty handy right there.
