According to eMarketer Video Ads Generate More Revenue.  Publishers are able to charge as much as 300% more for VIDEO ads as for regular display ads. All publishers studied charged increased rates for video advertisements.

That’s a great deal for publishers of course. We always like making more money. But advertisers aren’t stupid. They won’t pay for video advertising long at the rate of 300% more than display advertising if they aren’t getting demonstrably better results than display ads (unless they just have money to burn of course).

That means any business competing for customers online needs to consider how to begin integrating video into the marketing mix.

Because video right now is the province of “big business” small businesses using video in their market places can get a jump on the competition.
