If you’re selling your work at home business products or services at a tradeshow, flea market, or anywhere else offline, you know you can sell more, get more impulse buys, and make more money if you take credit cards.
But for most people, getting a merchant account, the required terminal, and all that is just too big a hassle. After all, that’s why we sell online and take PayPal.
Now here’s an equally easy solution for offline selling. It might just be a life-saver if you’ve been looking for a better way to accept credit cards…
It’s called Accept by Phone, and it works just like it sounds.
It’s very straightforward:
It’s $99.00 to apply (but only if you’re approved), and after that it’s only $5.00 per month, and 3.95% per sale.
There’s no cancellation fees, no terminal lease - no surprises.
Like I said, if you’ve been looking for a better way to take credit payments as a mobile merchant - then this is a no-brainer.
But check it out for yourself:

I didn’t know this one. Good way to accept payment with reasonnables fees which are quite similar to paypal (only the 99$ fee and $5/month) but add a lot of convenience. The good point is that it can be used on a website or on print orders as it seems the point is to provide the phone number only and the user just call and dials the required numbers.

One way you can accept credit cards off-line is to have a Pay Pal Pro account. Now with a Pro account and an wi-fi or wireless internet connection you can use their virtual terminal feature and run the credit cards the same way.
