New Resources For Prisoner Re-Entry

You may recall that I get to go to local prisons and jails on a fairly regular basis to help prisoners about to try to make it on the “outside”. When you consider that some of them have been in so long they’ve never used a cell phone or ATM card, that can be a real transition and one often doomed to failure.You can see earlier posts on this here and here.

The US Department of Labor’s Center for Faith Based and Community Initiatives is offering free resources on prisoner re-entry “best practices”. They are free for download or they are even shipping hard copies for free and no shipping cost. You can check the descriptions out here and order if you wish. No charge for either option!
