Anyone Using MagicJack for Your Work At Home Business?

August 22, 2008 by Chuck | 2 Comments

Skype got it’s start, in a way, from the work at home business community. After all it was promoted to link Ebay buyers and sellers. Lots of us use it for a low cost VOIP solution. Computer to computer, the calls are free.

But some people just don’t like it. They think it attracts viruses and worms - but then again, these people think breathing attracts viruses and worms.

And some people would love cheap calling but even Skype is a little bewildering.

So I wonder if these folks are going to start using MagicJack  as an alternative to Skype or as some have said - a “Vonage Killer”?

I’d like to know your real life experiences, pro or con with using MagicJack Voip  so please leave a comment with your experiences!

Magic jack sounds interesting but I fear that the quality of the call will be the same as SKYPE.I use to have vonage in the past but has issues with phone call quality and resorted back to a normal phone line.As you say when you run a business you can’t afford to have choppy phone service-it’s not just professional

I use MagicJack for my home business line, and it works great. Sound quality is as good — or maybe better — than my home landline. It would be nice if people actually used the product (like me) before commenting on it.
