Looking for more examples of Word Press used for a “Static Site”

This is a project I started a long time ago. It pretty much went stagnant for a while but was still indexed in major engines and I thought it was worth rehabilitating. I wish it were something to brag about. It’s not. It’s just that the old site was getting so ratty looking, I had to do SOMETHING to rehabilitate it. Maybe when I’m done it will start making some money again. It’s one of those sites that just was sitting around collecting dust.

But it’s a great testimony to WordPress’  flexibility.

I can’t tell what it will look like longer term. This is just after some quick CPR…

Rather than going through the wordpress overhaul, I’ve started using Squidoo as a landing page. I can then send people where I need them to go – i.e. my blogs, websites, etc. Like wordpress, it’s free. Give it a peek at http://www.squidoo.com.

Squidoo is fine. I’ve built some great lenses there. In fact, if all my web pages paid as well as some on Squidoo, I’d be very happy. However, usually if you have any kind of hosting account if you have one website, you might as well have a few more to maximize the value of the bandwidth etc. especially if you can market them. Otherwise, Squidoo is a good place to start and, for some perhaps, focus on.
