I Guess You Know These Job Ads Lie, Right?

I was looking at a lens I created on Squidoo to make sure it had published correctly.

I saw this job ad.

This town is a county seat town in a Southern County. A Saturn plant is nearby. But do you really think there are “$100 per hour jobs with benefits” anywhere or in any number?

They only reason they’ll be over $6 per hour at least is because the minimum wage went up yesterday!

I guess we’re so used to lies, they’ve become routine in the way people do business.

Now if someone could show me ONE JOB at that “$100 per hour with benefits” in this town ($200,000 per year) I wouldn’t call them liars, just exaggerators but I’m sure there is not even one! Maybe in LA, but not here!

We see the same thing in “work at home” ads. Make “$100 per hour”… yeah if you happen to get 10 – $10 surveys that last 6 minutes. You’re unlikely to get that many in a month and never in an hour.

But I suppose if you click these ads, you may find something besides lies.
