This is from the “Tips Booklet Guru” Paulette Ensign and I wanted to pass it along. Be sure to visit her site at http://www.tipsbooklets.com
This sounds like a really good deal if your booklet is a proven seller - or if you’re just getting into the market. This system lets you target people seeking quick information resources. Basically you are paying for an ad placement and letting these people who have the customer base sell your booklet at a commission. Remember to use it to sell your other products and services. And make sure you’re still making a profit for yourself when selling the booklets at 65% of list price and having to ship them!
A quick reminder for you from this month’s ezine.
Booklet authors are forever asking me where to find help in marketing their (your) booklets, for a commission. I finally have a solution for you.
Brian Jud, a well-established colleague of mine in the field of large-quantity sales to non-bookstore buyers, launched a service to meet that need. He also realizes that booklets are an excellent addition to the books his team will be representing.
He has connected with an experienced s’ales team to sell your books and booklets to non-bookstore buyers on a non-returnable, commission-only basis.
Brian’s newly created business, Premium Book Company (PBC), will place your book or booklet’s cover (with a 100-word description) in two semi-annual catalogs that will be used by over 1800 experienced s’ales people to s e l l your books to buyers in corporations, schools, associations and government agencies.
Two catalogs will be printed each year, updated with your current information if necessary. There is an annual catalog set-up fee of $200 for your first title, $150 for a second title and $100 for each additional title. As you can appreciate, it costs his company to print the catalogs, and this nominal fee to be included is typical of companies who print catalogs.
Once PBC s e l l s your books or booklets, they will buy them from you at a discount of 65% off whatever YOU have set as the list (regular single-copy) price. I know many booklet authors price their single copies in a wide range of prices. That single copy (”list”) price is up to you to determine.
Go to http://www.premiumbookcompany.com/signup.asp to sign up. Insert the word “TIPS” when asked for a promotion code. PBC will add your book or booklet to their catalog and send it to the 1800 salespeople. The catalog will be printed in August, so you will have to be signed up by this Friday, July 11. It is not necessary to have an ISBN number since these will all be non-retail s’ales. Just ignore that field on the form on the site.
Please direct any questions about his program directly to Brian at (860) 675-1344.in Connecticut.
