As I said a while back, Kroger had a plan (however boring) to snap up economic stimulus checks by letting people buy 10% more groceries if they gave Kroger their check up front. Can you say “cash infusion”?
Now that sounded a little boring to me… just 10%? But at least it was a plan.
I thought I’d hear more unique plans from savvy businesses but haven’t really.
The economic stimulus checks do seem to be boosting retail sales.
