Thus far, all the talk about website design has focused on PC and laptop users.
Now companies are realizing there are 3 times more cell phones in the world that personal computers. Increasingly, these phones can surf the web. Business websites though may not be “friendly” to these users.
Now the question is: How do we create a mobile friendly website to keep business flowing?
“There’s an increasingly large subset of business users who expect to conduct business through their mobile phone,” says Russell Fleming, vice president of digital access marketing for FedEx Corp. “Business users expect Fortune 500 companies to be on the cutting edge of mobile technology.”
