People grow concerned that their artificial sweeteners are killing them whether it’s aspartame, saccharin, or something else. They don’t taste quite like real sugar either. So every so often they come out with a new artificial sweetener that at least gives your body a rest by introducing a new toxin.
Health enthusiasts who rebel against the status quo go to health food stores and buy things like agave or stevia to get that sweet taste without fearing it’s killing them.
Now Cargill and Coke are bringing out their version of stevia.
Hopefully they haven’t had to turn it into something toxic just to patent it.
But if you’re work at home business or small business involves food, if this new sweetener can be brought to market for a low enough price, you may be able to capitalize because stevia is well regarded in health food circles as a “natural sweetener”.
Use of it in your products may make them more attractive to your health conscious clientele.
