Though the US Government has done it’s best to make everybody content to be a mindless, docile ward of the State and willing to give 100% of the productivity to Washington, a recent survey revealed that 2 out of 3 Americans still dream of owning their own company.

Several reasons were cited for wanting to start a company, with the most popular being a desire to be passionate about work. Slightly less popular reasons were work-home flexibility and earning more money.

Agreat place for people to start looking for a business to own is online. Website business opportunities are relocatable, typically have low overhead, global reach, operate 24/7 , and can be extremely lucrative. Rather than starting an internet business by yourself and having a steep learning curve, you can buy an existing website business for sale listed on many sites such as the following: sitepoint.com , websitebroker.com , bizquest.com , bizbuysell.com , buysellwebsite.com and websiteproperties.com

I own my own company selling on eBay. It is fantastic. Taking the plunge into being in business on your own is definitely a hard thing to do, but was the best decision I ever made!
