Marketing In Desperate Times

April 4, 2008 by Chuck | 2 Comments

Marketing is always about solving somebody else’s pain.

People crave something and the products and services we sell are the solutions that cure the pain.

As a previous post mentioned, people are experiencing lots of pain these days.

That’s why my Angel Food Ministries lens at Squidoo has had 700 visitors in just the last 7 days and over 15,920 in a few months.

So if you can find a way to LEGITIMATELY help these hurting people, it may be a way to break into internet marketing.  I stress the legitimately, because you really DO want to sleep at night don’t you?

But if you found a way to help people with high blood pressure, for example, consistently… or help the US economy by helping people “buy American”, or whatever, then there are desperate people who would listen to your message.

Here’s how to identify and SERVE desperate people. Look for the motivated buyers… stop trying to convince. Find the convinced people and give them the help they want!

Looking for Desperate Buyers Only may be just the way you’re looking for to break into Internet Marketing!

Well said Chuck! I also feel that solving other people’s problems/pain should be the goal of every human being – especially internet marketers! Because scamming others takes away sleep/peace of mind, so adding value to other people’s lives makes sense. In today’s competitive world, selfishness is obvious. But thanks to people like you & me who care enough to help others! I urge our reader friends to take the efforts to learn skills that can solve people’s problems. Income will follow…
