Writing For Peanuts & Loving It

Writing For Peanuts and Loving It is about all us netizens who have a writing disorder and like to get paid to indulge it.

It has an interesting lead though for aspiring writers. I’ve never much cared for writing at Helium, but as the article notes, some authors are landing up to $40 per article there on commissioned pieces. That may be peanuts to the journalists, but for the work at home crowd, that’s pretty good for an article.  Some have gotten $75 to $300!

Here was an interesting tid bit too:

Paul Lines of Britain has sold so many articles through the marketplace that he’s on pace to earn $5,000 and $10,000 from it this year. He spends about an hour a day filing pieces for various Web sites on subjects he knows intimately: He’s an independent business consultant and in training to be a family therapist, so he’s penned pieces with relationship advice and how to start a business.

One person’s peanuts may be another person’s work at home business opportunity!
