Always wanted to start that Porta Potty business and name it “Here’s Johnny”?

About as soon as you print up your business cards and other signage, you may be hearing from a lawyer.

The stupidist things like “Fair and Balanced” are considered “intellectual property” and David Bollier’s book “Brand Name Bullies” chronicles the absurd lengths people will go to coerce others into bending to their will.

If you have a website or book called “__________ for Dummies” did you know some snippy lawyer will send you a cease and desist letter?

It’s getting ridiculous.

That’s why your brilliant “viral” marketing name may be history before you can print the first business card.
