The Nuts must run Walnutport, PA and the rest of the state for that matter. Some Jackbooted Cretan from the pre-internet era and the State of Pennsylvania waltzed in on a mom trying to earn a living while caring for a child with a brain tumor.
Her noxious crime was selling items online (10,000 in fact) without an “auctioneers license”. Of course no “auction” took place “in” Pennsylvania and if one had it was conducted by an automated auction platform not Ms. Pletz herself. She is the seller who compensated an “auctioneer” to sell her items, namely ebay. But ebay has money and lawyers so they’re doing what the wild pigs do on a Hannibal Lecter movie and attacking the person that’s “down” and can’t fight them with high priced lawyers.
This is beside the fact that Ms. Pletz undoubtedly spent her profits in Pennyslvania and kept a good number of people employed like delivery persons, doctors, and local shops. But because she didn’t obey a law that didn’t apply to her and didn’t satisfy some drooling imbecile in state government, they’re going after her. This is a way for some clown to tell his pencil headed bosses that he’s brought in revenue to the state, however ignorantly and illegally. This idiot needs to be fired on the spot for harassing this woman.
Despite the obvious idiocy to any sane person, she faces $10 million dollars in fines to appease the Pennsylvania Brown Shirts. I guess she can at least be thankful they didn’t bring in a SWAT Team to deal with her “dangerous” activities.
Listen Pennsylvania, just admit you’re wrong and compensate this woman for your harassment! And stop trying to STOP home business people from making an honest living.
