If you’re in Portland Oregon and want to start a home business or improve yours, you may want to check this meeting out.
The Thursday, February 21st, meeting of the area-wide Association of Home Businesses in Sellwood will feature a program by Nancy Chapin, guru of all Portland area business associations, and herself a home business owner, who will discuss resources available to home businesspeople locally.
You can read more at http://www.ahboregon.org/. This is one of their monthly programs.
Since our founding meeting in April of 1992, [The Association of Home Business] has had dinner meetings. They are almost always 6-9 pm on the third Thursday of each month, at SMILE Station, S.E. 13th Street, a block south of Tacoma Street (the “Sellwood Bridge” street) at Tenino, in the Sellwood neighbohood of Portland, Oregon. Sharing a meal, and getting to know one another, is the relaxed and low-key AHB way.
We are not a “leads group”, but we do network with each other to get ideas about how to work better, smarter, more profitably. We enjoy the cameraderie, and the chance to get out among others who do what we do — and to dine together once a month, while enjoying an interesting and useful program. Membership is only $36 a year, in our nonprofit organization!
