Have you upgraded to the latest version of Microsoft Office?
I’ve been using Microsoft Word, for example, since Windows 3.1.
Usually the changes for each upgrade are such that using the new version is comparatively simple.
I didn’t find that to be the case with the latest upgrade at all.
It’s “tabbed” like Internet Explorer 7 but it was frankly one of the biggest pains to use I can imagine.
Basically I felt that it’s going to be more trouble than it’s worth to learn the new operations of the product.
I’m no computer hacker or anything, but I can normally operate a Word Processor.
Lots of average office people will, I predict, be staring dumbfounded into the screen trying to get this dog of an upgrade to bark.
I’ll let you know if I change my mind.
But I was really wishing after seeing it that the people who made Firefox would collaborate with ANYONE to make an office suite to deliver us from Microsoft.
