I thought everyone realized that supposed emails from the IRS were all bogus, but no.
A lady asked me to help her get her “online refund”.
I showed her the way to see if a link was bogus. When this one went back to a web page registered with an .ru (Russian) domain name, and I told her it was designed to steal her identity and run up bogus bills in her name that she’d have to pay she said…
“I wondered how the IRS had gotten my email address!”
