How Free Is The Free Market?

January 21, 2008 by Chuck | 1 Comment

That we live in a “Free” or “Laissez-Faire” Market is, as Jeffrey Tucker states, “sheer fantasy”.  Free Markets and campaign promises during Presidential election speeches don’t go well together thus far, but Ron Paul’s trying his best and making more headway than anyone would have thought possible selling freedom.

Though we’ve been taught from the cradle in the US that  we have a “free country” and a “free market” the reality is far different. In the home business arena which is the concern of this blog, we see that we really don’t have free markets because we constantly hear about the local bureaucrats using laws from the 1940’s to limit people’s ability to work at home on their laptop!

The article is worth reading.

Yes, very true.. Still we don’t have it, the said “free society” remained a word.. And it’ll always remain as it is for we still govern by the laws..
