My Angel Food Ministries Lens at Squidoo keeps getting quite a few hits… 504 in the last 7 days. It’s ranked 142 today overall on Squidoo and I haven’t done anything much to upgrade it for weeks.
One of the things that helps keep it “up there” (in my opinion) is that it gets lots of people voicing their opinion on the little survey I made… 209 people have participated in it thus far.
But I also get a fair number of comments.
That brings me to some cool upgrades Squidoo has implemented.
You used to have to go to your lens directly and edit the comment section to approve comments. Now you can do this directly from the dashboard and it saves several annoying steps and a significant amount of time, especially if you’re having to do this on a dial up connection!
I also like the ability to automatically BROADCAST changes about your lens to everyone who’s marked it as a Favorite or who’s signed up to receive your lens’ RSS feed. This new function is like being able to have a free “autoresponder” almost.
It means we should make a good effort to get people to sign up for our rss feeds or mark the lens as a “favorite”.
