Using full screen view, increasing the text size, and taking frequent breaks – among other suggestions – are recommended.
I try to have some eye drops handy as well for the “dry eye” problem. But also doing eye exercises and massaging the area around your eyes seems to help as well. Exercise for your eye muscles (yes you have them!) that force you to fix your gaze on first distant objects then closer ones are also helpful in my experience.
