A Note About Pay Per Play Ads…

December 21, 2007 by Chuck | 4 Comments

If you have signed up for “Pay Per Play” Ads and put the code on your website, it IS working.

It’s just that no ads are running right now. There’s a setting you can use to play white noise, but unless you just have to hear it, don’t bother.

Right now, the system of networks that will play the audio ads is is being audited to produce a rate sheet of sorts.

The actual ads will start running after the new year.

It’s time now to get your pay per play ads set up!

If you have yet to sign up make your move as this opportunity comes along very seldom.

    Interesting,

I like the concept having seen my AdNONsense revenues dropping month by month while my site hits have increased. I can see this as a much better revenue source than Google, so I can’t wait to beta test PayPerPlay since it is free to see.

    Good luck to all,

As a user – somebody who reads from several different web sites – I have to say that sound is one of the more annoying / less forgivable things a site can inflict on its visitors when they aren’t interested in hearing any.

Forrest your point is taken but if I do not want to have sound interrupt my surfing I have my speakers off. Personally I hate pop ups more than anything. Many people also dislike Adsense ads but Google doesn’t seem to be doing anything about it and they are still growing..
