Here’s an interesting book I was browsing at Lulu.com, it’s the Tell A Friend Book

Big corporations pay consultants to keep positive word of mouth spreading.  We tend to assume that word of mouth happens by “Accident”. It does to some extent, but there are things we do that can help or hurt us in the process.

This book is about how small businesses can enhance their word of mouth.

Interestingly Marcia Yudkin‘s weekly email today was about this topic as well… referral based marketing that makes the customer seek you out instead of you seeking them out. It’s an extension of Word of Mouth marketing.  You cultivate an elite image that’s the opposite of looking like you’re begging for business.
