eMarketer has an interesting study on media usage by various generations. You can see the chart here =>

It’s helpful in deciding what media mix you need for advertising success. If your target is “Millennials” aged 13-24, you definitely don’t spend all your money on direct mail!

What’s interesting is that research done on internet search engines are reaching all generational groups. The next best one is word of mouth.
