Blogs Help Real Estate Agents In Tough Markets

December 17, 2007 by Chuck | 1 Comment

The South Florida Business Journal had an excellent report today about how real estate agents are using blogs to generate leads in tough markets and in tough times!

Two of the blogs mentioned were:

Kevin Tomlinson’s South Beach Real Estate Blog

Ardell DellaLoggia’s Seattle Real Estate Blog

Both agents have found their blogging useful for selling themselves to potential buyers and sellers. DellaLoggia was one of the Top 10 Women Real Estate Bloggers  in 2006. She’s proven her ability to obtain actual listings from her blogging and she generates a solid number of leads from her blogging work.

Tough market? Try a blog.

There seems to always be a cyclical ebb to real estate I think the other economic factors such as the credit crunch is making it even tougher. Online business opportunities work great for real estate agents because they are motivated and desire significant incomes as a rule. I canned a 30plus employee traditional business to work at home in a turnkey opportunity. It was a tough decision but worth it. I like not being tied to local economic conditions.
